About Myriad Petroleum
Myriad Petroleum is an oil and gas production operator focused on building a secure supply of low CO2 oil and gas. Our experienced subsurface team uses their expertise in subsurface, operational and management disciplines to optimise oil production and minimise environmental impact — and to build the software that supports it.
Two divisions, one discipline
The company runs an exploration and production side and a software development side, and deliberately keeps them in the same building. Software written by people who never have to live with the design decisions tends to show it; engineering that never gets systematised stays in one person’s spreadsheet.
Our engineering work is grounded in producing assets: artificial lift, well and reservoir surveillance, wellwork programmes, and the digitalisation of the workflows around them. Our software — ESP Designer, WellGrid and PumpX — comes out of that experience.
How we work
- Check, do not assume. Numbers come from the file, the test or the measurement — and where a default is used, it is labelled as one.
- Validate. Results are checked against field data before they are relied on.
- Keep the data yours. Local and offline deployment are first-class options, not an enterprise upsell.
- Stay neutral. We work with the equipment and the systems you already run.
- Be discreet. Client data, technical detail and commercial terms stay under confidentiality.
