Product — artificial lift

ESP Designer

Design, selection, optimisation and visualisation for electrical submersible pumps — in oil wells and water wells. One case carries the well, the fluids, the equipment and the operating conditions, from the first design pass through to the surveillance of a running installation.

Ways of working

One case, from design to operation

Design

Build the well, size the equipment, check where the design sits against its operating range, and produce the selection and the report.

Surveillance

Take the installation as it runs and diagnose it — where it sits against its envelope and what the well is actually doing.

Economics

Energy and lifting cost on the same case, so the engineering choice and its cost are seen together.

Capability

What it covers

Well performance

Inflow, lift and fluid behaviour solved together, for oil and water wells, calibrated to your own tests.

Equipment selection

Catalogue-driven sizing of the pump, motor and the rest of the string.

Operating range and run life

Where a design sits against its recommended operating range over the life of the installation.

Gas and fluid effects

The effect of free gas and changing fluid conditions on pump performance.

Sensitivity

See which uncertain inputs actually move the answer, before committing to equipment.

Diagnostics

Compare what the installation should be doing with what it is doing.

Operating strategy

Compare operating options for an installation before they are applied in the field.

Rate estimation

Production and water cut estimated from the installation for wells without a dedicated meter.

Reporting

Cases, comparisons and assumptions exported in a form that survives a technical review.

Fit

Built to fit how you work

The tool reads the well, equipment and test data you already hold, works in field or SI units, and can exchange information with the planning and materials systems an operation runs on — so an engineering result can be carried through to what actually gets ordered and installed.

Deployment is agreed case by case: hosted by us for evaluation, installed locally, or running entirely inside your own network where data cannot leave.
